Indianapolis, IN, August 18, 2012 --(PR.com
)-- Simply Well, LLC partnered with Bluemile, the Indianapolis JCC, Edible Arrangements, Green B.E.A.N. Delivery and Abby Fox Fitness to bring Simply Well You’s program 100miles in 100days to the employees of the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra. In April, Simply Well challenged the employees of ISO to sign up to complete 100 miles in 100 days. The program is designed to promote employee wellness one step at a time. The goal of the program is to have individuals commit to walking, running, swimming or biking (with an adjusted scale) 100 miles in 100 days.
Over the course of 15 weeks, or the 100 days, ISO had 48 individuals commit to this program with four teams committing to accomplishing over 500 miles total as a team. The program started on May 1 and commenced on August 7, 2012. The total miles calculated on August 8, 2012 was 6,256 with one team accumulating 1,198 miles alone. During the 15 weeks, the ISO employees were treated to goodie bags from the above listed sponsors, a mid-point one mile walk around downtown with a healthy lunch provided by Arni’s Restaurant, water from Pepsi and stretching with Charley Cripe, owner of Basic Training and weekly emails with recipes, fitness tips and more.
All employees were treated to a lottery of prizes including spa treatments, fresh fruit bins, Indianapolis Colts tickets, Simply Well Books and more. ISO is committed to encouraging the wellness of their employees and have partnered with Simply Well on multiple employee programs.
Simply Well, LLC created Simply Well You late in 2011 to assist small to mid-sized businesses on the creation of small wellness education and programs.
