DeVoe Buick GMC Takes “Teacher Appreciation Month” to Heart

Naples, FL, August 23, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Last Friday marked the end of Teacher Appreciation Week at DeVoe Buick GMC in Naples, Florida. Of course, the point of this event was to show appreciation to all the teachers in Collier County for all the time they spend investing into the lives of young people. However, this was not only done by offering a slight discount on a service for teachers; DeVoe helped the local School system in three different ways.

The first aspect of this special event was a discounted oil change for all teachers and administrative workers in Collier County. At any time from August 6th through the 18th, teachers and administrative workers could come in and receive an oil change for only $16.95.

DeVoe Buick GMC also ran a special Facebook offer while this event was still going. According to the official DeVoe Automotive Facebook page, if you “Become our fan on Facebook August 6th-19th, we will donate $5 to the Education Foundation of Collier County.” Now that the event is over, DeVoe is proud to announce that they will be donating $200 to the local Education Foundation of Collier County.

Finally, DeVoe Buick GMC was able to help some underprivileged young people in the Naples area by giving away bags full of school supplies. These bags included all the essential school supplies including pencils, pens, paper, and other various supplies.

According to the official DeVoe Buick GMC Google+ page, even though the Teacher Appreciation Event is over, “our love and appreciation for teachers is still going strong.”
