Wilson, NC, August 25, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Butterfly is pleased to announce the sponsorship of the 2012 Butterfly Thanksgiving Open Team Championships table tennis tournament scheduled for November 23-25, 2012 at the Columbus Ohio Convention Center in Columbus, Ohio.

The 2012 Butterfly Thanksgiving Open Team Championships is a USATT sanctioned three-person team table tennis tournament organized by experienced tournament directors Dan Seemiller and Mark Nordby. The tournament is expecting top American teams to participate. Michael Landers, Adam Hugh, Mark Hazinski, Barney Reed, and former World #18 Eric Boggan will be there to compete.

This first annual tournament offers a reasonable entry fee, cash prizes for Division 1 first, second and third place winners, and beautiful custom awards for 1st and 2nd place finishing teams. In addition, Division winners receive free entry to next year’s event.

The Columbus Convention Center is conveniently connected to the Hyatt Hotel and features excellent lighting and will have individually barriered courts to help keep you focused on your game.

Butterfly is the official equipment sponsor of the 2012 Butterfly Thanksgiving Open Team Championships and will supply ITTF approved Butterfly table tennis tables, barriers, nets, and 3-star balls.
