Lookio Books Launches LookioBooks.com for Creating Custom Children’s Books

Wauconda, IL, September 06, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Lookio Books, a publisher of personalized, customizable children’s books, announced the launch of www.LookioBooks.com today. On the website, users can create a personalized children’s book for a child they know. Users simply choose a story and then enter a little one’s name, specify a gender, and choose physical traits such as hair style, hair color, and skin tone.
Once a book is created online, Lookio Books prints and binds an 8" x 10" hardcover version of it. The child’s name and the customized character appear on each book spread as well as on the book’s cover.
“We are thrilled to announce that we are open for business, and we can’t wait to get kids excited about reading with our books,” said co-owner Shawn Currie. “Our website makes it easy to create a customized gift that kids will love because they will be the main character in the story. We’re very proud of our first two books, and we look forward to adding more titles as we grow.”

Currently, two illustrated character books are available, [Child’s Name] and the Little Cloud and [Child’s Name] and the Rickety Robot.
