Van Horn Hyundai Supports Hyundai Hope on Wheels Pediatric Cancer Program

Milwaukee, WI, September 13, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Van Horn Hyundai near Milwaukee has been a long-time supporter of Hyundai’s Hope on Wheels program. The Hope on Wheels program is Hyundai’s way of raising financial support and awareness for childhood cancer.

The Hope on Wheels program began nearly 15 year ago and Hyundai continues to stand by their mission every year. What started as a small contribution to local pediatric cancer centers, has now evolved into a nationwide campaign and a non-profit organization that Hyundai is proud to support all year long.

There are over 800 Hyundai dealers that participate or donate to the Hyundai Hope on Wheels program and Van Horn Hyundai is proud to be one of them. While the Hyundai Hope on Wheels program is an everyday campaign, September is a special month for Hyundai dealers.

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and Van Horn Hyundai is celebrating by pledging to donate money toward cancer research in exchange for a simple “Like.” For every new Facebook fan Van Horn Hyundai receives until October 1st , they will donate $1 to cancer research. Overall, Hyundai Hope on Wheels will donate $10 million in September alone to cancer research.

Hyundai also donates Hope grants to various pediatric medical centers all year long. During September, the Hope on Wheels program will be giving the remaining 14 Hope grants to deserving pediatric hospitals across the country with the help of Twitter fans.

Hyundai is encouraging fans to “Tweet 4 Hope” and help select which pediatric hospitals should receive the grants. Participants can tweet once a day using the hashtag #Tweet4Hope and include the name or username of the hospital they would like to vote for.
