Mindgrub Now an Official Developer for Nook Platform

Mindgrub has been approved by Nook for be an official developer for their tablets.

Baltimore, MD, September 19, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Last week, Mindgrub expanded their mobile development capabilities and was named by Barnes and Noble as an official Nook Developer. Already known for their apps developed on iOS and Android platforms, Mindgrub can now gear apps specific for Nook tablets.

With the tablet era in full effect, Mindgrub’s engineers have been developing apps available on Apple’s iPad since its release. Now being an official Nook developer, the Mindgrub development team is eager to be recognized for making apps specifically for the Nook tablet that operates on the Android Operating System.

In 2002, Microsoft unsuccessfully launched the first modern tablet that paved the way for the niche market and resulted in the Apple iPad. Since then, many companies have modified and put their stamp on the tablets we know today. The Nook, which was developed by Barnes & Noble was originally intended as an e-reader. To keep up with the industry, the Nook has since adapted to compete with other tablets such as Apple’s iPad, Amazon’s Kindle Fire, and Samsung’s Galaxy.
