Canton’s Leader on the Rise Briyana Guadalupe Crowned - Miss Talented Pre-Teen 2007

Canton, Georgia’s outstanding youth leader, student and performer wins EGTYI's 2007 Scholarship Program.

Atlanta, GA, July 04, 2007 --(PR.com)-- In a program entitled “Dream Girls, Dream”, Briyana Guadalupe realized one of her dreams by becoming Empowering Georgia’s Talented Youth Inc. - Miss Talented Pre-Teen of Georgia. Briyana proved her talent as a singer with her rendition of “I am Changing” from the stage musical “Dream Girls”. In a custom made lavender gown, she stood above the rest, displaying her talent, public speaking ability and poise despite the bright lights and the obvious excitement. Miss Guadalupe, the daughter of Ms. Brenda Guadalupe, is a student of Dean Rusk Middle School of Canton where she is considered a leader. In fact, she was chosen to attend the national leadership conference in held in Washington D. C. Briyana will now represent Empowering Georgia’s Talented Youth Incorporated as an ambassador for community service throughout the state of Georgia as Miss Talented Pre-Teen. Miss Ashley Simmons and Miss Ineza Polen of Augusta, Georgia took 1st and 2nd runner-up respectively and will also participate in various events throughout the year.

Empowering Georgia’s Talented Youth Incorporated is a 501 c 3 organization whose goal are to promote culture and education through the performing arts as well as prevent pregnancy and develop positive relationships with the ladies they serve. In addition to the Talented Pre-Teen Scholarship program for young ladies 8-12, they sponsor the Hal Jackson’s Talented Teen International of Georgia Scholarship program for young ladies age 13-17. EGTYI have brought thousands of dollars in scholarship money, including two (2) - 4 year scholarships, to Georgia as well as providing an experience of a life time with international travel, cultural and entertainment experiences to the girls they serve.
