Bridgestone Global Partners Executives attend Pacific Rim Bankers Program

Two senior executives of the Bridgestone Global Partners are attending the 35th Annual Session of the Pacific Rim Bankers Program (PRBP) in the University of Washington in Seattle, a two-week intensive program that prepares bank executives in managing the challenges of an increasingly global economy.

London, United Kingdom, September 22, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Mr. Oscar Myers, Executive VP and head of the Company’s Operations Sector, and Mr. Peter Scotland, Senior VP and Technology Management Group head, joined executives from other company and financial corporations.

This is also part of the Bridgestone Global’s Management and Leadership Development Program Framework which aims to strengthen the availability of a highly trained and qualified management pool through the conduct of major institutional programs addressing its critical needs.

Offered by the University of Washington, the PRBP curriculum is based on the following themes: analysis of financial institutions’ decision-making in a constantly changing global environment; and analysis of international financial markets and the economy. Topics to be covered are: Develop your Leadership Skills and Style; Financial Management: Exec International TM Simulation; Financial Services Industry: Practices, Products and Prospects; Strategy; Relationship Marketing; Ethics; International Financial Markets and Risk Management; and The Pacific Rim in the Global Economy.

It features speakers from major financial institutions, banks, and the Federal Reserve Company of San Francisco discussing current issues related to companying and business.

Other senior officers of Bridgestone Global, including its current president and CEO Robert Campbell, previously attended the same program.
