Invoke Becomes XBRL-Certified

Invoke, the European leader in XBRL and regulatory reporting, is pleased to announce the successful XBRL-certification of eight individual team members, with staff profiles ranging from business development executives, consultants and domain experts through to software developers and IT engineers.

Paris, France, September 22, 2012 --(PR.com)-- On 14 September 2012, Invoke became one of the first European companies to join the growing list of XBRL Foundation Certificate holders, and it is likely that further staff members will undertake the certification process in the near future.

The exclusive online training and examination program is offered by XBRL International in partnership with ITpreneurs, a leading developer of highly innovative and advanced training solutions. The five learning modules in the XBRL Foundation Certificate take learners progressively through a curriculum
designed to provide a solid foundational knowledge of the XBRL specification. The program covers a broad range of topics including a comparison of business reporting methods, the business requirements that drove the development of the XBRL Specification, the general architecture of XBRL, the specification’s main components and the basics of modeling for XBRL taxonomy development.

“Invoke’s involvement in the international XBRL community dates right back to the very early days. As a founding member of XBRL France and a direct member of XBRL International, it is only natural that Invoke should lend further weight to what is already an enduring commitment to the XBRL standard, by encouraging staff members to become XBRL-certified,” says Rémi Lacour, Invoke CEO.

Antoine Bourdais, Director of the Banking, Insurance & XBRL Division at Invoke, shares this view and adds, ”All the participating Invoke team members found the XBRL Foundation Certificate training to be a very valuable and worthwhile endeavor. By covering a comprehensive spectrum of both technical and business-related content, the training program is relevant to all staff profiles, and at every level of the company. Furthermore, it gives trainees a 360° view of the relevance of XBRL in the Business Reporting Chain, and this in turn allows them to envision new approaches to long-standing business reporting issues. Invoke remains fully committed to innovation in the realm of XBRL and data standardization, and we believe it is important to lend our support to fresh-thinking and new initiatives that are driven by XBRL International, which also help further the achievement of our corporate goals.”
