Triangle Grading and Paving Donates $10,000 to the Alamance County Economic Development Foundation

Burlington, N.C. Construction Company Contributes to Nonprofit Corporation Funding Support for Community and Economic Development Activities

Burlington, NC, October 05, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Ronnie Kirkpatrick, president of Triangle Grading And Paving, Inc. (http://www.trianglegradingpaving.com), has announced that the company has donated $10,000 to the Alamance County Economic Development Foundation (ACEDF), a nonprofit corporation that funds support for community and economic development activities. The ACEDF received the check personally from Triangle Grading and Paving employees at the Alamance County Area Chamber of Commerce on Sept. 13.

The ACEDF contracts with the chamber, the primary economic development agency for Alamance County, to provide economic development staffing and program implementation support complementary to that otherwise provided by public and chamber resources. ACEDF is governed by an eight-member board of directors, half of whom also serve, simultaneously, as members of the chamber executive committee. The other four board members are at-large elected from the pool of investors providing funding to the foundation and are not otherwise connected with chamber management.

Quotes:
“We are privileged to be able to contribute to an organization that actually gets things done. For, example the addition of the Sheetz Distribution Center,” said Ronnie Kirkpatrick, Triangle Grading and Paving president. “We at Triangle challenge our brothers and sisters in the business community to work together with ACEDF and bring in more jobs to Alamance County. By contributing to the cause, we can help this area prosper, even during these harsh economic times.”
