Kingdom Business Organization Launches Transformational Journal

A Journal That Impacts Business and Transforms Communities

Virginia Beach, VA, October 07, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The Regent Center for Entrepreneurship (RCE) announced the launch of their new journal today called Transform: Regent University Journal of Kingdom Business. The journal consists of articles from RCE’s Kingdom Research Fellows. The Fellows comprise a group of ambitious students who bring a wealth of knowledge and diverse backgrounds. They conducted research on Kingdom business topics ranging from community transformation to business as ministry. The hope behind creating the journal was to create a resource that would assist entrepreneurs in improving and expanding their business’ impact, as well as help transform their communities.

“We are excited about the launch of the new journal. Regent students have worked diligently on writing articles that are informative and engaging, which cover a variety of interests,” said LaTasha Anderson, Kingdom Research Fellows Coordinator.

Namie Bimba, one of RCE’s Fellows said, "Kingdom Research Fellows inspired me to look into the power of Business as Mission (BAM) and utilize it as a more effective means than charity to lift people out of poverty. Being in a group of like-minded fellows with different areas of research created an environment in which all of us grew and learned."

The vision of RCE is "transforming people and nations through business." One of the key areas in which RCE works to fulfill its vision is through research, particularly in the area of Kingdom business. Kingdom business is an approach to business where the commitment to upholding Christian values is at the forefront. Despite research advances, there still remains limited research in this area. RCE is accepting applications for the next group of Kingdom Research Fellows, which will begin January 2013.
