Image Pacific Broadcast Rentals and Image Central Broadcast Rentals on Board for Topsail Productions’ “Gerry Dee: No Reading Ahead”
Toronto, Canada, July 11, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Image Pacific Broadcast Rentals (IPBR) and Image Central Broadcast Rentals (ICBR) are pleased to announce that their newly commissioned High Definition Airpack was chosen by Halifax based Topsail Productions as the technical facilities on the production of “Gerry Dee: No Reading Ahead”.
“Gord McLennan, technical producer on the project, has been kept up to date on the process of the airpack and had contacted us early in June to see if the facility would be ready”, stated IPBR/ICBR National Operations Manager, Dale Rechner. “I assured Gord that all would be ready for the July 7 shoot. Having had a long history with Gord, we are ecstatic that he was the TP who sailed our new HD Airpack, named IMAGE HD1, on its maiden voyage.”
“Gord was impressed with our choice of cameras, the Sony HDC-1550 Multi-format HD camera with the triax option, the Fujinon HD glass and the FOR-A HANABI HVS-1000 switcher. Topsail Productions, producers of the long running hit series, “Trailer Park Boys” deserve the best in technical facilities, IMAGE HD1. It is also great to be here in Vancouver, dealing with our client in Halifax for a production happening in Toronto. It shows that IPBR/ICBR can take care of any production, anywhere.” Adds Mr. Rechner
The Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics have been a major factor in IPBR/ICBR investing in new High Def technologies now. With another 4 Camera High Definition Airpack planned for 2008 and a full HD Production Mobile in 2009, IPBR/ICBR will be able to offer producers top notch facilities and service world-wide.
