Dallas, TX, October 12, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Black Transmen, Inc. (BTMI) is excited to become a part of your family. As the 1st National Non-Profit Organization of African-American Transmen, Black Transmen, Inc is extending an invitation of partnership to educators, coaches and counselors to improve the actual experience of LGBT students in elementary, junior high and high schools.

A national survey recently conducted by the Human Rights Campaign, found that 74% of our LGBT youth report school as the place they hear negative messaging. Over 51% of school youth age 13-17 have been verbally harassed, 48% have been excluded by their peers and unfortunately, approximately twenty percent of LGBT youth reported being physically attacked nationwide.

In conjunction with The National Anti-Bullying Initiative, Black Transmen, Inc is taking action to combat this dilemma. Black Transmen, Inc services include sensitivity training geared toward service providers to become skilled at effectively counteracting bullying and harassment.

BTMI host panel discussions in safe environments to share strategies for creating a safe, all-inclusive atmosphere in educational settings. Black Transmen, Inc. is able to construct individualized educational presentations for Parent Teacher Associations and Organizations, further investing BTMI in the future of our youth. Finally, BTMI's unique mentoring program and ability to sponsor SLGBTQI Alliance student groups will allow students to feel encouraged, safe, and valued as they embark upon the path to graduation.

The next step is easy! Contact Black Transmen, Inc. to schedule a formal introduction or meet and greet.
