About Dr. Jane Penelope Johnson
Dr. Johnson was born in Danville, Kentucky. She is a Freelance Songwriter and World Renowned Poet. She graduated from the Famous Writer’s School in Westport, Connecticut in 1967 and earned an Honorary Doctor of Letters degree in London, England in 1993. Dr. Johnson’s numerous awards include Most Admired Woman of the Decade, International Woman of the Year, Cambridge, England, Inclusion in the 500 Greatest Genius Laureates of the 21st Century and a Presidential Award from George W. Bush, 2008. Her many published works include “A Penny for your Thoughts,” Penny Johnson, Published by Authorhouse, Bloomington, Indiana, 06-30-04-I.S.B.N. #1-4184-2489-7 and “Shout it Out” – “Immortal Verses.” Dr. Johnson is affiliated with the International Order of Merit, the World Literary Academy and is the Laureate Founder – International Society of Poets – Advisor, Nobel House – Empire State Bldg. Poetry Office, U.K. – Paris and Tokyo Publishing. Dr. Johnson is surrounded by her family which includes her husband William E. Johnson, sons Buddy and Robbie and her grandchildren.
