Ragsdale Liggett Paralegal Sarah White is Co-Captain of the Junior League SPREE! Fundraising Event

Sarah L. White, active in the Junior League of Raleigh for nine years, is a co-captain leading the League's largest fundraising event, A Shopping SPREE!. It takes well over a year to plan and execute this event. All proceeds benefit at-risk youth programs throughout Wake County.

Raleigh, NC, October 18, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Sarah L. White, a paralegal at the law firm of Ragsdale Liggett PLLC is a co-captain leading the Junior League of Raleigh’s 28th annual A Shopping SPREE! This is the League’s largest fundraising event, and all proceeds are used for community programs that improve the lives of at-risk youth throughout Wake County. It takes well over a year to plan and execute this popular 5-day shopping event and gala.

“A lot of hard work and planning has gone into SPREE! over the last year, but it is one of the most rewarding volunteer roles in which I have had the pleasure to serve,” says Ms. White. “We have a record of over 170 exhibitors this year, and I’m anxious to see what a huge impact the shopping event will make in our community.”

About Sarah White:
Co-captain Sarah White has been active in the Junior League of Raleigh for nine years. She is a native of Kinston, NC. Sarah received her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from East Carolina University and a post-baccalaureate certificate in paralegal studies from Meredith College. She also earned the Certified Paralegal designation for the N.C. State Bar and the Advanced Certified Paralegal, Civil Litigation Specialty designations from the National Association of Legal Assistants. Sarah is in her sixteenth year as a paralegal and works with litigators at the law firm of Ragsdale Liggett in Raleigh.

The Junior League of Raleigh is an organization of more than 1,900 women who serve in the Wake County area. A Shopping SPREE! begins with a Preview Gala on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at the Raleigh Convention Center and ends Sunday, October 28, 2012. More than 170 unique vendors will offer jewelry, home décor, clothing, accessories, holiday items and much more. The You’re Invited Back Café and the Carolina Color art gallery will be highlights, as well.
