HCR Named Relocation Management Company of the Year

London, United Kingdom, October 25, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Amidst the global mobility best in class, HCR Group have – in their 30th year of trading – been named Relocation Management Company of the Year 2012 - the ultimate accolade to achieve within Global Mobility at the European EMMA Awards on Friday 19th October.

The esteemed event took place at the Park Plaza Riverbank Hotel in London, beginning with the FEM European Global Mobility Summit during the day and melting to a dazzling awards ceremony in the evening. Professionals in attendance enjoyed a host of networking and conference sessions during the day, and a night of trepidation, celebration and jubilation during the awards.

The 2012 European EMMAs received over 1,000 entries, with HCR beating competitors Brookfield GRS, Cartus, Crown World Mobility, Interdean, International Personnel Management, Mobility Services International (MSI), Paragon Relocation, SIRVA, Sterling and Weichert Relocation Resources Inc to receive one of the most coveted EMMA awards of the night.

The awards were independently judged by some of Global Mobility’s most experienced and respected professionals, including representatives from Unilever, Logica, Thomson Reuters, BlackRock, Mars, Heineken, Aviva, Diageo, BAE Systems, Tesco, BMW, American Express and Britvic.

Judges commented that HCR shone above others within the industry with their “thinking outside the box” attitude and ability to evolve and change the generic approach to relocation.

The Relocation Management Company of the Year award was allocated based on suppliers who went above and beyond the following criteria:

· the organizational skill driving the company
· impact on overall business priorities and goals of clients, specific benefits to assignees and any obstacles overcome
· innovations, effective use of resources, any improvement in customer service and cost management
· improved methods introduced to clients or other parts of the business
