She provided attendees with insight on the topic of “Getting Our Voices Heard: Making A Difference in the World,” and talked about how women in business can increase their involvement with public policy and the 2012 elections, no matter their political affiliations.
Smiley spoke as part the organization’s 2012 Women in Business Speaker Series, which focuses on providing businesswomen from diverse backgrounds with the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally through networking opportunities.
