Wendy’s Celebrate National Adoption Month by Hosting Match Parties

Detroit, MI, November 02, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Brian H. Kelemen & Associates, Inc. Wendy’s franchises are collaborating with Spaulding for Children, an adoption agency serving the metro Detroit area, to celebrate National Adoption Month. Several Wendy’s stores, located in Lapeer, Macomb and Wayne Counties, will host a “mini” Match Party for children available for adoption, with a Carnival theme, from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Spaulding for Children provides foster care, adoption and child abuse prevention services to more than 400 metro Detroit area children and families each year, and receives numerous grants to develop new and innovative methods of fostering permanency for children.

Wendy’s Wonderful Kids (WWK), a recruitment program funded by the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, work to find forever families for children in the foster care system. WWK Recruiters will accompany the children as they engage with prospective adoptive parents during the Carnival Match Party.

The Brian H. Kelemen & Associates, Inc. Wendy’s franchise group owns 13 locations in southeastern Michigan. Last year, Spaulding for Children worked with them on a “Give Back” Celebration at one of the franchise locations. This year they want to expand it to their 13 locations. They expect to have 10-15 children that are available for adoption and 10 prospective families at each of their Match Parties on the dates specified below.
