The visionary behind this original concept is Danka. Originally from the former Yugoslavia, Danka earned a degree in Philosophy from DePaul University while studying and working with master stylists in the United States and Europe. According to Danka, her gallery and salon has taken special care to make the entire experience stimulating for its clientele. “We want to create an experience that will turn heads and spread awareness in more ways than one.”
Aside from promoting artists, Desdimi also has an ongoing campaign called Free Haircuts For Cancer Patients where anyone battling cancer can receive a complimentary haircut, texture, buzz or simply paraffin dip and scalp massage.
