Taylor Morrison Arizona Partners with Phoenix Children’s Hospital This Holiday Season to Raise Funds for Great Cause

From now through mid-December, Phoenix residents can receive a pack of holiday cards designed by the talented patients at Phoenix Children's Hospital for free when they visit a Safeway store on designated days.

Scottsdale, AZ, November 03, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Taylor Morrison is helping Phoenix Children's Hospital spread holiday cheer and raise money for a good cause this holiday season.

The Arizona homebuilder has partnered with 98.7 The Peak, Safeway and Phoenix Children's Hospital to offer free holiday cards on select days at local Safeway stores this season.

The greeting cards have a special backstory, too. All of the artwork is courtesy of current or former patients at Phoenix Children's Hospital.

"These children are such a wonderful inspiration," said Pierrette Tierney, vice president of sales and marketing for Taylor Morrison's Arizona division. "We couldn't resist helping Phoenix Children's Hospital shine a spotlight on these special holiday cards and the terrific little artists who designed them."

From now through mid-December, Phoenix residents can receive a pack of holiday cards designed by the talented patients at Phoenix Children's Hospital for free when they visit a Safeway store on designated days. Taylor Morrison is underwriting the cost of the holiday cards, making it possible for Phoenix Children's Hospital to raise awareness.

The holiday cards will be available for purchase starting Nov. 1 with free holiday card packs available Nov. 7, 13, 17 and 20 as well as Dec. 6 and 11 with two locations also offering a "Winter Wonderland." The Winter Wonderland locations will have a snowy landscape for area children to play. For more information on specific locations and times please visit www.taylormorrisoncares.com.

In addition to the holiday cards, Phoenix homebuyers can give even more to Phoenix Children's Hospital by participating in the homebuilder's "Deck Your Halls" promotion. With up to 20 percent off popular options through the company's design center, homebuyers can save on their new home in Phoenix.

But while they save they also help Phoenix Children's Hospital because Taylor Morrison will donate 5 percent of all design center revenue during the two-month campaign to the children’s hospital.

"It's a great way to get the house you want, they way you want and still give to a worthy cause," Tierney said. "So if homebuyers purchase cabinets, granite or flooring they not only save on their new home but help support Phoenix Children’s Hospital."

The special home buying options campaign runs through Dec. 31. For more information on Phoenix new homes, Taylor Morrison communities and the available design center option discounts, please call Brandon Cleveland at (480) 346-1738 or email him at bcleveland@taylormorrison.com.
