Finding Time’s Solo-E Certified Expert Helps Others Pursue Their Happiness

Local Time Management Expert and Master Coach shares tips during National Pursuit of Happiness Week.

Francestown, NH, November 05, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The second week of November is Pursuit of Happiness Week and one Solo-E.com Certified Expert Paula Eder, Ph.D. is offering tips and ideas to create more happiness as a solo professional.

Eder, who owns and runs Finding Time in Francestown, NH, as a solo business owner knows that most solo entrepreneurs start their businesses to find more happiness. “It’s the freedom to do what we want when we want that attracts us to solo entrepreneurship,” explains Eder. “That freedom allows us to pursue what we value and, by extension, what makes us happy.”

Founded in 2006, Finding Time helps heart-based entrepreneurs and small business owners, from the inside out, to align their core values and energy with their time choices and behaviors. This helps them make more money, create more freedom, and find more time.

Eder is one of 50 solo professionals who have met the requirements of the only international post-graduate certification program for solo entrepreneurs to become a Solo-E.com certified expert.

“Often, as we grow our business, we find that we have lost that happiness,” says Terri Zwierzynski, CEO and founder of Solo-E.com. “With more than 78% of all business in the US being single-person businesses, we need to remind ourselves to pursue happiness because we have the freedom in our businesses to do so,” she says.

Zwierzynski and Eder recommend some ways for solo professionals to put happiness back in their businesses:

· Step away from the computer. “Work only the hours you have determined to work,” says Eder “Many solo entrepreneurs are connected at the hip to their business at all hours. To find happiness, one must also know how and when to disconnect.”

· Do what you love. Get rid of the rest. “When you have to do tasks you don’t like, it can really affect your mood,” says Zwierzynski. “Plus, you often waste time and money when doing them. It’s better to outsource those tasks to focus on your strengths and on doing what you love.”

· Remember your why. “To pursue happiness, we have to know why we went into business for ourselves in the first place. Even in the darkest days, focusing on the why can make it easier to work through challenges and obstacles,” says Eder.
