WorkOne Indianapolis Connects Unemployed and Underemployed with Community Resources

Indianapolis, IN, November 22, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Unemployment and underemployment bring many challenges to people in Indianapolis each year. Challenges often extend beyond those associated with searching for a new or better job. Securing safe housing, dressing for a job or an interview, and even putting food on the family’s dinner table may be regular worries. Many organizations throughout Indianapolis provide resources to support those most in need.

In an effort to help connect jobseekers with the resources available, WorkOne Indianapolis will host Community Resource Fairs on Thursday, November 29 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the WorkOne Indianapolis west side office and Wednesday, December 12 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the WorkOne Indianapolis east side office. These events are free and open to the public.

Representatives from more than 20 local agencies that assist with food, housing, clothing, health, education, employment, and more will be on hand to provide information about services available.
