Mrs. G TV & Appliances Introduces the New CornuFé 1908 Range from La Cornue

La Cornue is a family business spanning 3 generations, founded in Paris, France, and specializing in high-quality kitchen ranges. The CornuFé series of ranges was introduced in 2005 for La Cornué enthusiasts with a more modest budget and the CornuFé 1908 is the newest addition to the CornuFé series. The range measures 36” wide and is available in seven colors, including Gloss Black, Provence Blue, and Stainless Steel, and with three trim combinations. The front is immediately recognizable by its solid oven door. It is equipped for natural gas but also has an included propane conversion kit.

The CornuFé 1908 features a seamless stainless cooktop with 5 sealed, professional gas burners. This includes one 17,500 BTU burner and 12,000 BTU burners. The CornuFé 1908 also features a large natural convection gas oven. The interior measures 22.4 x 19.7 x 10.2 (inches), which is 2.61 cubic feet of space, and contains 3 rack positions. The oven is La Cornue’s signature gas vaulted design and features an exposed electric broiler and 22,000 BTU. The patented vaulted shape is what creates natural convection heat, which is ideal for roasting. The CornuFé 1908 also includes oven accessories including one flat rack, one pastry tray, and one Mauviel roasting pan with trivet. The bottom of the range has a large storage drawer that provides plenty of room for racks, trays, and accessories. The CornuFé 1908 embodies the French culinary tradition and high-quality that La Cornue is known for and it is on display now at Mrs. G TV & Appliances.
