Storage Village Spearheads Record Breaking Winter Clothing Drive

Storage Village donates hundreds of pounds of winter clothing items to help keep neighbors warm this winter.

North Bethesda, MD, November 25, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Storage Village lead a record breaking coat collection effort, donating a total of 104 coats, 19 sweaters, 2 blankets, and 107 pounds of additional clothing items. Storage Village is humbled to have the employee and community support that enabled this year’s initiative to be their most successful coat drive.

Storage Village’s annual coat drive marks just one of the many ways Storage Village demonstrates their gratitude for the community they are part of. Year round, the employees at Storage Village lead by example, each volunteering at least 8 hours per month at the non-profit of their choosing. Now through December 15th, Storage Village is hosting a “Toys for Tots” Toy Drive at each of their locations.

Storage Village’s prior coat drive efforts have given hundreds of our neighbors in Maryland and Virginia the basic clothing that they need for the winter months. They are proud to donate a record-breaking number of coats this year, and look forward to continuing to improve the quality of life in their neighborhood through their commitment to community service.

Storage Village is proud to be an active member in their community. As “the trusted home for your possessions,” they invite anyone in need of extra space or with a toy to donate this holiday season to visit the facility nearest them.
