The Tabata Protocol Workout Comes to Delray Beach at The Barre Studio

Known for its cutting edge workouts, The Barre Studio in downtown Delray Beach, Florida is once again leading the way for fitness enthusiasts by becoming the first fitness center in the area to offer the Tabata workout. This supra-aerobic high intensity workout will be an additional offering to their schedule, which already includes The Barre workout and TRX Boot Camp.

Delray Beach, FL, December 09, 2012 --( There is a new workout on the schedule at The Barre Studio in the heart of Downtown Delray Beach.

That’s right.

They did it again.

It was The Barre Studio that brought back real-deal Lotte Berk by creating The Barre workout. They were the first (and the only) studio in South Florida to offer Piloxing. Their TRX Bootcamp is the only one of its in Delray, and now the Tabata Protocol has come to The Barre Studio.

Named for the Japanese scientist who first studied it, Tabata is a supra-aerobic cardio workout that burns more fat, faster, than any other workout around. Think of Tabata as a sort of super HIIT - High Intensity Interval Training (like TRX Bootcamp). This intense workout will help you to improve your athletic capacity and improve your ability to burn fat.

In short, those holiday pounds don’t stand a chance.

Owner Kim Palacio: “We are really, really excited about bringing Tabata to The Barre Studio and we think clients will be too. Brittany and I will both be teaching Tabata classes, and Tabata will be offered as both a morning and evening class, giving everyone a chance to try it out.”

Tabata will also be a part of The Barre Fitness Challenge that The Barre Studio plans to introduce in January. Be on the lookout for information on The Barre Fitness Challenge to be released in the weeks to come.

As always, visit the website at to register for a class or call the studio at (561)891- 0006 for more information.

Try it and you’ll see why The Barre Studio is telling everyone, you’ve gotta Tabata.
