Fort Myers, FL, December 13, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The Southwest Florida law firm of Henderson, Franklin, Starnes & Holt, P.A., is pleased to announce that the Lee County Bar Association has elected Attorneys John Miller as President, Shannon Puopolo as Vice President, and Robert Anderson as Treasurer of its Young Lawyers Division.

Miller focuses his practice in municipal and governmental liability defense and professional negligence defense. Miller also speaks and writes frequently before public and private associations on matters of social media and technology in litigation. He serves as co-chair of the Social Networking Committee and Chairman of the Young Lawyers Committee of the Florida Defense Lawyers Association, and is a member of the Defense Research Institute. Miller also serves on the Child Care Center of Southwest Florida Board of Directors. Before becoming a lawyer, he started his career a math teacher for Fort Myers High School. Puopolo concentrates her practice in commercial litigation and, more specifically, handling creditors’ rights in bankruptcy and lenders in foreclosure proceedings. She also represents resident and commercial landlords in eviction and ejectment proceedings. Puopolo serves as a mock trial coach for Cypress Lake High School. She is a member of the Calusa Inns of Court and American Bankruptcy Institute. Puopolo received undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis (B.A., 2005) and her law degree from the University of Miami School of Law (J.D., cum laude, 2009). Anderson concentrates his litigation practice in the areas of personal injury defense and professional liability defense, particularly in the defense of real estate professionals, architects, and engineers. He serves on the City of Fort Myers Imaginarium Science Center Board of Directors and serves as Vice President of the Southwest Florida Claims Association. Before starting his legal career, Anderson spent six years as a non-commissioned officer in the United States Marine Corps Reserve. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia (B.A., 2006) and his law degree from the University of Florida, Levin College of Law (J.D., cum laude, 2009).
