Comedian, Actor Henry Cho Headlines Riverside Humane Society Pet Adoption Center’s 10th Annual Comedy Night on Sept. 7

Riverside (CA) Humane Society’s 10th Annual Comedy Night fundraiser features comedians Henry Cho and Bryan Erwin, raffle prize of a luxury weekend at the historic Mission Inn, and silent and live auctions.

Riverside, CA, July 23, 2007 --(PR.com)-- On Sept. 7, 2007, the Riverside Convention Center in Historic Downtown Riverside will transform into an lively comedy-club venue when the Riverside Humane Society Pet Adoption Center (RHSPAC) hosts its 10th Annual Comedy Night fundraiser to help support the cats and dogs awaiting adoption at RHSPAC.

Headlining the evening’s entertainment will be comedian and actor Henry Cho, a regular on the comedy club and concert circuits who stars with Hilary Duff and Angelica Houston in the film, Material Girls, being released August 18. Cho draws much of his humor from being a Korean-American born and raised in Tennessee. Bryan Erwin, a stand-up comic and comedy writer, director and producer from Los Angeles, will kick off the evening’s entertainment with his satirical brand of humor.

Comedy Night begins at 7:00 p.m. with a no-host cocktail reception and the liveliest silent auction ever, followed throughout the evening with live auctions featuring fabulous products and services donated by area businesses.

A feature of the evening is the raffle prize: luxury weekend accommodations for two at the historic Mission Inn Hotel & Spa. The package, valued at $2,500, includes a Saturday night stay in the Keeper of the Inn Presidential Suite atop the International Rotunda, dinner at Duane’s Prime Steaks & Seafood, Sunday champagne brunch in The Mission Inn Restaurant, deluxe spa package at Kelly’s Spa, tour of the Inn, and valet parking.

"Comedy Night is such a wonderful event, which is why we enjoy putting it on each year and why it continues to be so successful as a fundraiser. Everyone knows the joy of laughing so hard for so long that you just hurt for days afterward," said Cathy Walling, RHSPAC executive director.

Tickets for the 10th Annual Comedy Night are $50 per person. Reservations are required.

Sponsorship opportunities are still available and RHSPAC is accepting donations of products and services appropriate for the live and silent auctions.
