About Carl H. Castore

Dr. Carl H. Castore is a Professor at the University of Maryland University College. Dr. Castore holds a B.S. in Psychology from Pennsylvania State University. He has an M.S. in Social Psychology as well as a Ph.D. in Social and Applied Psychology, both from Rutgers University. In addition, Dr. Castore has taken postdoctoral graduate work in Counseling Psychology from Ball State University and Ohio State University. Dr. Castore has taught for over 20 years at Purdue University as well as the University of Illinois and the Georgia Institute of Technology. Dr. Castore has experience in consulting, private clinical practice and university counseling. Dr. Castore joined the Asian Division Faculty and has taught in Bangkok, Singapore, Kwajalein as well as Korea and Japan. In his free time Dr. Castore enjoys water and oil painting.
