Innovation Direct™ Inventor Takes Crucial Step by Filing Provisional Application for Patent on Anderson Wheel Invention

Hartman on his Anderson Wheel invention upon his request. Later in July 2012, Mr. Hartman opted to contract Innovation Direct™ to represent the Anderson Wheel to potential licensees for a 2 year period under the terms of the Product Management Services Agreement. The terms of the agreement also included Innovation Direct™ referring Mr. Hartman to an independent patent law firm for the filing of a provisional application for a patent on the Anderson Wheel. The application was officially filed on October 8, 2012 and is valid for the term of one year. Prior to its expiration, Mr. Hartman will have to decide whether or not to opt to have the independent patent law firm convert the application to a non-provisional version.
