)-- Displays2Go has just launched a new line of tablet computers for retail and commercial in-store advertising. The tablets use the open Android OS for seamless integration with existing apps, and come complete with access to a content management system. Users can either use in-stock slide and presentation layouts, or quickly create their own interactive presentations using the CMS.
“The iPad changed the marketing world, that much is clear,” says Sandra Reno, Marketing Analyst at Displays2Go.com. “Interactive displays aren’t just the future of in-store marketing efforts, they’re the present. By launching our new line of customizable tablets that come with access to online content management, we’re opening up the playing field to small-to-mid size retailers that might not have had the opportunity to take advantage of custom tablet advertising before.”
The high-resolution tablets come in four different sizes, measured on the diagonal: 10.1”, 15.6”, 18.5” and 21.5”. The handheld devices consist of a tempered glass screen housed in a durable black plastic case designed specifically for heavy traffic use. Users can purchase the tablets alone, or bundled with either floor or countertop mounts in a variety of finishes.
“This is a very exciting time,” continues Reno. “The possibilities created by our release of these tablets are almost limitless.”
