Songwriters Launch Music Charity Project

Songwriters Roberto Ignis and Junior Darlington seek to raise funds for hunger stricken communities in Africa through the sale of an audio track seeking empathy.

New York, NY, December 22, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Songwriters Roberto Ignis and Junior Darlington have created a campaign dubbed "musicandcharity,"an effort to raise funds to support areas in Africa suffering from the toll of hunger through the sale of an audio track written and performed by the duo.

The imagery exuded by the lyrics accompanied by a euro-africanised composition quickly identifies the listener with the plights of the needy in Africa. The initiative kicked off in November 2012 with the writers piecing up all the relevant information on their campaign site http://musicandcharity.com/ in a clear and concise way.

Visitors to the site are responsively brought home by the video narrative and accompanying literature on the site enabling them to know facts about food production, waste, malnutrition and disease and how they relate to each other. The funds collected from the music sales will be availed to "Caritas Poland" an international NGO which has well developed channels and development partners to use the funds for effective change and transformation of hunger afflicted communities in Africa.
