San Francisco, CA, December 30, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Sushi Rolling Party is a great team building event.

If you are looking for a fun office event, but not an intense workshop type event, sushi-rolling party by Breakthrough Sushi is an excellent activity that is sure to build team spirit.

Recently, Breakthrough Sushi was hired by Consulate General of Netherlands, San Francisco to offer Sushi Rolling Class for 20 of their staff. “They wanted something more casual than our normal team building sushi class, yet promotes team bonding through fun activity. So, we decided to combine sushi class and party,” says Kaz Matsune, the owner and chef of Breakthrough Sushi.

The 3-hour event starts with Breakthrough Sushi’s famous sake Mojito and delicious appetizers like Edamame salad with tri-colored bell peppers with orange Champaign vinegar and lemon infused olive oil, Smoked Salmon Sushi Bite with Cream Cheese on European Cucumber. After an hour of socializing, sushi rolling demonstration and hands on sushi making class will follow. “After a few cocktails and appetizers, everyone is relaxed and ready to have fun making sushi.” The class lasts for approximately one hour. Then, guests will have plenty of time to eat their own sushi, drink and make more sushi and share their sushi making experience with their colleagues. “No one leaves the party hungry and everyone leaves with a big smile,” Kaz explains.

Though making sushi seems simple, many of the participants find it to be the opposite. “Usually they will have very hard time making sushi especially handling of sushi rice. Most of them end up finding their hands filled with sushi rice. They all told me sushi making is lot harder than it looks and started to appreciate more on what sushi chefs do. I think that is a very important realization and is very good thing,” Kaz says.

Breakthrough Sushi was founded by Sushi Chef Kaz Matsune in 2006 offering unparalleled fun team building sushi classes and tasting events for corporations and private parties. It is San Francisco Bay Area’s only culinary team building company specializing in sushi making using organic and sustainable ingredients in accordance with Seafood Watch Guide published by Monterey Bay Aquarium.
