“CPR can add vital minutes to your infant’s life – unfortunately most Canadians are not trained in this crucial life-saving skill,” says Nina Binkowska, Mom’s Day One co-founder, “There is a greater chance of your infant’s survival after a life-threatening situation if CPR is performed without delay - this is why the knowledge of CPR can be the deciding factor between the life and death of your loved one.” “This workshop, first of many, is a part of our commitment to well-being of new moms. New skills should bring them more self-confidence and, eventually, peace of mind,” adds Simone Miller, Binkowska’s business partner.

The “Essential CPR” workshop will be lead by certified Red Cross first aid instructors.

Additionally, parents and their children are invited to participate in Gymboree Play & Music early stage play session.

Mom’s Day One was founded in 2012 and is a Toronto-based company focusing on well-being of new mothers. It provides “Mom’s Day One” box with gifts and information distributed across the GTA.
