Somebody’s Mother’s to Debut New Sauces at the NASFT Winter Fancy Food Show

Houston, TX, January 10, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Somebody’s Mother’s Chocolate Sauce will debut three new dessert sauces at the National Association for the Specialty Food Trade’s 38th Winter Fancy Food Show, said company founder and president Lynn Lasher.

The new flavors: Mocha (chocolate sauce infused with coffee and chicory), Praline (a sweet and creamy caramel sauce with roasted walnuts), and Island (white chocolate sauce with chopped macadamia nuts, coconut, and coconut rum), and will be available to sample exclusively at the Somebody’s Mother’s Chocolate Sauce booth (#2712) during the Fancy Food Show at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, Calif. from January 20 to 22nd, said Lasher.

“We hope the Fancy Food Show attendees and our customers enjoy these new sauces as much as we do,” said Lasher. “We’re excited about the taste of all three new sauces and, of course, about the extension of our product line.”

The Mocha, Praline, and Island sauces are the first additions to the company’s product line since it debuted its Chocolate, Caramel, and White Chocolate sauces in 2005 with the launch of the company. The new sauces will be available for sale at the company’s affiliated retail stores (store list available at http://somebodysmothers.com/stores) and on the company’s online store (http://store.somebodysmothers.com) as of January 23, 2013.

Somebody’s Mother’s Chocolate Sauce’s caramel sauce was selected as a Silver Finalist in the 2009 sofi™ Awards from the NASFT in the Dessert or Dessert Topping category. In 2011, the company was named one of the Top 12 Artisan Producers for Quality & Innovation by The Nibble.

Founded in Houston, Texas, Somebody’s Mother’s Chocolate Sauce produces all-natural chocolate and dessert sauces, the first of which, chocolate, is based on a 100-year-old family recipe. The company originated as a business model for Lasher’s three children, all of whom play an active role in the company, even as they develop their individual careers.
