CASE Commercial Real Estate Partners and John Bowles Company Merge Talents and Service Lines to Create Stronger Platform


Dallas, TX, January 11, 2013 --(PR.com)-- CASE Commercial Real Estate Partners (CASE) announces the merging of talent and service capabilities with Dallas-based John Bowles Company, a commercial real estate firm specializing in office and retail project leasing, tenant representation, brokerage services and property management. The union propels CASE’s commitment to being recognized as a Texas commercial real estate knowledge leader by augmenting service capabilities and capitalizing on experience in the office and retail market. The combination of personnel now totals 81 employees in Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio and Houston, including 35 commercial real estate professionals. Gross annual sales and leasing transaction volumes are estimated to be $250 million.

Founded in 1996, the John Bowles Company shares the same entrepreneurial style of operation that CASE has presented to clients. While the merger bolsters service offerings, the company will continue to operate as CASE, a boutique firm offering individualized attention and customized solutions to clients.

“The Texas market is primed for growth and we wanted speed-to-market in growing our platform,” says John Conger, co-owner and principal of CASE. “John Bowles is a well-known entity in this business and he has built his company on the same culture and principals that we practice at CASE. There couldn’t be a better match to synergize our service capabilities for clients.”

John Bowles, who joins the firm as a principal focused on new business development, was drawn to the many specializations and services that CASE offers. “My company became interested in joining a bigger platform to take advantage of elevated market opportunities,” he says. “When it came down to it, we were most comfortable with the entrepreneurial and client-focused style of operation that CASE presented.”

The merger brings four million square feet of office, retail, and flex inventory to CASE. Mike Cagle, a leading industry retail expert, joins CASE to spearhead the retail service line which includes 85 shopping centers currently being leased by the John Bowles Company in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

“With our two firms combined the bench is deep and it gives us an entrée into more submarkets in the Metroplex,” says Conger.
