Cambruno: A New Fashion Clothing Website Features Amazing Indie Designers
Cambruno is a new online platform dedicated to showcasing amazing and talented fashion indie designers from all over the world.
San Francisco, CA, January 14, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Cambruno.com is a newly launched U.S. fashion clothing website that is dedicated to showcasing indie designers from all over the world.
The idea started when Daniel Penn left his cushy corporate marketing job and began backpacking the world. After traveling for two years in 13 countries over 3 continents, he settled in Asia.
“I was amazed that no matter where I went, I always came across amazing fashion markets. Each country’s fashion scene is so unique, but at the same time, universal,” Daniel says. “While I was traveling, I kept buying clothes and sending it home. Now, I want to make it accessible for Americans to check out and support local indie fashion labels from all over the world.”
Cambruno.com was founded based on that idea – that small, independent fashion designers deserve a platform. Daniel continues, “What sets Cambruno.com apart from the big fashion brands is our stories. We want to promote local talent, local fashion brands. As best we can, we want to tell their stories.”
All the brands featured on Cambruno.com are limited in quantity. Most are limited editions – once the stock runs out, the designers make something new. Many designers make their clothes out of their own basements or garages. Daniel says, “We want it to be a fun shopping experience. We want you to come back to the website, and check out what’s new. And we want to you fall in love with our designers. It’s not for everybody. But for some people, they’ll really love it.”
