Honolulu, HI, January 15, 2013 --(PR.com)-- KFF LLC, a leading provider of food safety compliance consulting services, today announced two successful implementations of the Safe Quality Food (SQF) systems. SQF is recognized by retailers and foodservice providers around the world who require a rigorous and credible food safety management system to be in place.

"It was an extensive and stringent process to organize, join, train and lead the project with nearly 200 employees at both sites combined--particularly during the peak of their busy fishing and holiday seasons," said owner Jennifer Young. "This type of implementation normally takes up to 6 months with most companies setting a goal of attaining certification after one year. Not only did we implement the program, but the Hawaii and Majuro sites passed their certification audits as well. We did all of this from start to finish in 60 days, which was quite an achievement for all involved," Ms. Young remarks.

SQF is the only program, recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) that is headquartered outside of Europe. It gives competitive advantages over non-certified producers and enhanced market access as it is endorsed and accepted by major Canadian, U.S. and international food retailers. Finally, it protects brands, businesses, and ultimately, the consumer by providing the buyer with assurance that the foods they purchase meet the strictest guidelines for food safety and quality.
