Smart Moms' Garla Smith Receives Global Career Development Facilitator Certification

Garla Smith receives Global Career Development Facilitator certification further qualifying her to assist job seekers.

Cary, NC, January 16, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Smart Moms is pleased to announce that company CEO, Garla Smith, was recently certified as a Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF). This new certification from the Center for Credentialing and Education (CCE) further qualifies Ms. Smith to help job seekers develop the skills needed to secure employment.

This is the latest achievement for Ms. Smith who was recently named the 2011-2012 Career Woman of the Year by Business and Professional Woman North Carolina (BPW/NC).

As an Adjunct Instructor at Wake Technical Community College she teaches job searching and employability skills to job seekers. With 120 hours of training and at least 1500 hours of service in the career development field this GCDF certification signifies that Ms. Smith is proficient in the career development arena.

“I am passionate about sharing my knowledge with jobseekers. A career development facilitator empowers people from all backgrounds who feel out of place during a job search. I’m thrilled to see them meet their goals,” says Ms. Smith.

GCDFs must demonstrate that they engage in continuing education activities to remain abreast of current information in the career development field.
