Joseph V. Colaianni is Partner at the law firm of Patton & Boggs, LLP. Mr. Colaianni assists clients in Intellectual Property litigation including patents, copyrights and licensing. He also advises clients in alternative dispute resolution cases and has served as a mediator in complex alternative dispute resolution proceedings. Mr. Colaianni has defended the U.S. government against patent infringement claims for the Department of Justice. Mr. Colaianni received his J.D., with honors, from George Washington University. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association, the Supreme Court Bar Association and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims Bar Association. He is Adjunct Professor at Catholic University of America. In his free time, Mr. Colaianni enjoys swimming and chess.
