)-- The Seminar which will be held on the 13th, 14th, and 15th of February 2013 will focus on commodity futures related issues such as Introduction to Option Trading and The importance of consistency of Sales Tax for Brokerage and Commodity.
The three day seminar will be organized by Woodlake Commodity Solutions in cooperation with the country’s important government agencies, non-government and private organizations such as the Department of Consumer Affair, senior government Officials of the Department of Civil Supplies, Department of Information Technology, energy Department, Department of Agricultural Marketing and Department of Food and Public Distribution.
Well-known individuals will serve as guest speakers of the much anticipated seminar on Commodity Futures Market. Most of them are considered pioneers in the brokerage industry. Mr. Harry Allwood, the CEO and President of Woodlake Commodity Solutions is also expected to attend the first day of the seminar to welcome the seminar’s participants. Expected seminar participants are mostly investors and traders who undertake trading activities through commodity futures markets. Woodlake Commodity Solutions is expecting at least two hundred participants of all types of traders regardless of their level of trading experiences.

One of the most important topics that will be discussed in the said event is the concept and role of the Commodity Futures Markets in the investment endeavors of every trader. Mr. Rodrick Ballantyne, a veteran floor trader in NYMEX, is expected to elaborate more of the entire concept of the commodity futures markets. Mr. Ballantyne is unanimously chosen as the guest speaker for the topic because of his extensive knowledge and experience in commodity markets, having been served the industry for nearly three decades.
Another issue which will be given emphasis is the introduction of potential synchronization of sales tax and other local taxes on commodities since the industry has seen to be integrating with the global, national and local futures markets. The harmonization and consistency of commodity sales taxes will be discussed by Mr. Tristan Klein, the firm’s Executive Director for Global Finance Department. Mr. Klein was then a financial analyst in one of the most respected financial institutions in United States.
