VisionTree Celebrates 10 Years as Foremost Leader in Cloud-Based Patient Portal & Outcomes Data Management

Over 100 distinguished guests attend reception at recently expanded Mission Valley headquarters.

San Diego, CA, January 28, 2013 --(PR.com)-- VisionTree® Software, Inc., a leader in cloud-based, modular electronic medical records and outcomes data management, announced today that it hosted an Open House reception on Friday, January 25 in celebration of its 10-year anniversary.

Over 100 distinguished guests attended the event at the company’s recently expanded facilities in Mission Valley.

The Open House was scheduled in conjunction with the Radiation Therapy Oncology Group (RTOG) Meeting that was held in San Diego January 24 – 27 at the Manchester Grand Hyatt Hotel. The RTOG is a national clinical cooperative group funded by the National Cancer Institute since 1968 to increase the survival and improve the quality of life of patients diagnosed with cancer.

“Many of our most esteemed clients from across the country were in town for the RTOG meeting, so it was a tremendous opportunity to celebrate our 10 years in business,” said Martin Pellinat, CEO of VisionTree Software. “The pioneering systems we have built for patient-centered health record management, communication and data collection have been a collaborative effort with our clients. This decade of success is a milestone as much for our clients as for ourselves.”

“I congratulate the VisionTree team on their ten years of meaningful contributions to the medical community,” said Patrick Kupelian, M.D., UCLA Medical Center. “They have taken the lead in moving data collection, aggregation and exchange to the cloud – creating systems that work well for the patient, the medical staff, and the researcher.”

The VisionTree Optimal Care™ (VTOC) cloud-based portal system allows providers to deliver improved quality and efficiency for patient care. VTOC Oncology™ v4.0 is a proven, modular and interoperable paperless patient management, documentation and communication platform specifically designed for the patient/provider oncology workflow.
