Chicago, IL, February 01, 2013 --(PR.com
)-- Legal malpractice attorney Jefferey Katz of The Patterson Law Firm, LLC will be speaking at the American Association for Justice (AAJ) Winter Convention taking place February 9, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. at the Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami, Florida.
The seminar will coincide with a meeting for the Professional Liability Litigation Group, of which Katz is the founding member. This event will mark the first ever group meeting. The topic is risk management for the plaintiff’s attorney.
“It is an honor to speak at the convention for the leading plaintiff’s trial attorney group in the country,” Katz said. “In addition to having some of the best trial attorneys in the country as its members, all AAJ members have an unwavering commitment to justice and a dedication to ensuring that there is a level playing field in the courtroom. It is that commitment to justice that drives my representation of plaintiffs in legal malpractice actions.”
AAJ holds two members-only conventions each year: an Annual Convention in the summer and a Winter Convention. Held over a five-day period, each of these events features education programs for plaintiff attorneys with a national focus; section, litigation group, caucus, and committee meetings; a lineup of political speakers, including candidates, elected officials, and pundits; and social events. Both conventions offer members the opportunity to earn a year’s worth of CLE, to network, and to return to their practices reenergized and better able to represent their clients.
