Bangkok, Thailand, February 02, 2013 --(PR.com
)-- Simplicity and "true to label"' product features emerge as core attributes in the minds of customers searching for all natural face products.
Launched in 2011, Royal Siam was formed with the purpose of bringing health and beauty items to the worldwide market, based on the considerable knowledge into plant and herb based treatments formed over almost a thousand years, which forms the basis of Thai Traditional Medicine.
More than one third of the business's product range of over 30 items is hand made using 100% natural ingredients, faithfully following the pre-industrial manufacturing process of the traditional medicine approach, which can be traced back close to a thousand years in what is modern-day Thailand.
Just four ingredients in this natural facial toner
"The Thai Herbal Facial Toner is probably the least sophisticated of any of our items and it consists of just four ingredients," states the business's Managing Director and co-founder, David Christensen.
Mr Christensen says the toner includes nothing but the natural extracts of four plants, with the process being carried out no in a different way to what would have occurred several centuries ago.
"The predominant ingredient is cucumber extract, which is cold pressed by hand from quality rated cucumbers, which are plentiful in Thailand and served with the majority of Thai meals as cucumber is among the few things that combats chilli and various other hot spices," he clarifies.
Traditional methods of processing are key in producing quality all natural face products
He goes on to lay out the value of the hand powered cold press extraction procedure. "Heating the material and utilizing mechanized presses is a lot more reliable and can double the volume of liquid extracted from plant material, which is why this method is most commonplace in modern processing plants. But the heat does a lot of damage to the extract that cold pressing leaves intact, and simply squeezing even more extract out could appear cost-efficient, but in reality we believe without question that 'less is more' and the typical hand powered cold processed extract is many times more powerful and effective than normal modern mechanized extraction processes permit."
The other ingredients are processed likewise - the Asian mulberry, willow bark extract commonly called witch hazel, and lastly one rather special active ingredient, genuine frankincense obtained from some of the oldest known sources in current Oman - most probably precisely the same area the Magi would have obtained the gift of frankiincense to the infant Jesus.
The result is an all natural face product that is both gentle yet incredibly effective in remedying skin balance by dealing with both extreme oiliness and excessive dryness; deep and thorough cleansing of all natural and artificial residues on the skin and closing the now cleansed pores prior to applying other products.
"I have to confess when I first tried the cucumber based natural facial toner my reaction was this product would not attract most people because of its unique cucumber smell – even though this smell doesn't last once it is on the skin surface and the product is very effective," says Mr Christensen.
"But then it started to become clear this was evidence of the item being authentic, and would be appreciated and seen as positive by our target market, which is precisely what has actually taken place."
Despite the item's simplicity and evident lack of sophistication, the cucumber based facial toner was the clear stand-out leading product in 2012 sales for the business both is regards to value and volume.
"Exactly what this has done is to reinforce the consumer demand for quality and credible natural items, and what it reveals us is simpleness can be an extremely effective attribute, then having item functions that are 'true to label' (like the natural cucumber smell of the toner) is also viewed as a favorable quality by customers, and this enhances the item as a genuine premium all natural face product," concludes Mr Christensen.
