)-- The National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) Southern Nevada chapter announces plans for 15th Annual Women of Distinction Awards. Award nominations deadline is March 1, 2013. Recipients will be announced at a luncheon program on May 3, 2013 at the recently remodeled Monte Carlo. The Women of Distinction Awards recognizes women who are outstanding in their fields and have made significant contributions to the community both personally and professionally.

Women of Distinction Awards are given in several categories including: Communications & Public Relations; Education, Government Services; Human Resources & Training; Philanthropy & Community Service; Real Estate & Construction, Retail & Business Services; Gaming, Hospitality & Convention Services; Glass Ceiling; Rising Star; and Entrepreneur of the Year.
The 15th Annual Women of Distinction Awards program supports women in business throughout Southern Nevada. Proceeds from the event will benefit women-owned businesses through the WODA Foundation, a 501(c) (3) organization.
