PHM International President to Address Self-Funded Health Plans in Kentucky

Orlando, FL, February 11, 2013 --( PHM International, a global healthcare consultancy and publisher of the PHM Emerging Markets Healthcare Monitor, announces its president, Mr. Hank Kearney, will be giving the closing presentation at the Central Kentucky Association of Health Underwriters’ Annual Symposium on Tuesday, the 19th of February in Lexington.

Titled “ERISA: Seller Beware” the presentation is targeted to health insurance agents and is of particular interest in light of upcoming healthcare reforms.

In addition to his work internationally, Mr. Kearney is a recognized health insurance expert in the challenges of selling various insurance policies.

“With the advent of Obamacare, more and more health insurance agents are trying to meet client demands for self-funded benefit plans,” said Kearney. “The challenge is a real quagmire for many small and medium size companies trying to save money. And too often it’s the employee left paying the medical bills,” Kearney continued.
