150-Year-Old Michigan Company Adds 250 New Jobs, Helps Fuel State's Economic Recovery

In fact, a new business opportunity has the company looking for 250 new associates as its interactive business processing unit continues to expand at its Michigan-based headquarters.
Morley recently announced that it was awarded a significant, long-term contract with a Fortune 100 company to deliver a world-class, customer care center for Roadside Assistance programs. Positions required to support the contact center include customer service, operational supervision, human resources, IT and senior program management.
“The new center will serve as the nationwide headquarters for the program and will be located on our 25-acre Saginaw, Michigan campus,” said Christopher J. Furlo, Morley Executive Vice President. “We’ve found a lot of talented professionals in the Great Lakes Bay Region – both during our recent growth and as we’ve evolved over the last century and a half. Now we’re looking for more.”
While other areas of the state are still recovering from the economic downturn, Saginaw County posted the 10th largest increase in employment among the largest U.S. counties, with employment increasing 3.2 percent from June 2010 to June 2011, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. The county is poised to experience similar increases this year thanks, in part, to Morley’s recent announcement.
