Equine Polo Coming to Busselton

The sport of equine polo is coming to Busselton Foreshore for the first time on Sat, April 27th 2013. Planned to be an annual event, the 3-a-side sport will be played at Barnard Park close to the renowned Busselton Jetty.

Margaret River, Australia, February 26, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The sport of equine polo is coming to Busselton Foreshore for the first time on Sat, April 27th 2013. Planned to be an annual event, the 3-a-side sport will be played at Barnard Park close to the renowned Busselton Jetty.

The thrill of equine polo and stunning Geographe Bay backdrop will combine to make it a remarkable day for the public and VIP guests. The event will run from 11am to 4pm and include two fascinating games of polo.

VIP Marquee Packages are available for $199 per head. The Goose Café will serve canapés upon arrival, a delicious cocktail lunch and premium beverages in their elegant VIP marquee with superb viewing position.

A feature game of the hilarious "postie polo" [in which postman motorcycles are used] will be played during half time. Tickets can be bought from the Dunsborough and Busselton Visitor Centres by calling at 08 9752 5800.

The event is free for the public, with the general admission section offering its own facilities under the trees on the foreshore. Visitors can bring their own picnic or buy food and beverages from an impressive range of outlets.
