Triumph for Saracen Estates Margaret River

Margaret River, Australia, February 28, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Saracen Estate did superbly at the recently held Winestate's Best of Western Australia Awards 2012, with its Sparkling Maree 2009, Methode Traditionnelle, claiming the "Top of Category" spot.

Its Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2009 also received five out of five stars.

Wines were blind-judged by a panel of veteran judges in their respective category.

Both the Sparkling Maree 2009 and the Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2009 have now been shortlisted for Wine of the Year Australia and New Zealand 2013 finals.

As well as the Best of the West Award 2012, Sparkling Maree 2009 received a Gold Medal at the 2012 Winewise Small Vignerons Awards and a Blue Gold Medal at the 2012 Sydney International Wine Show.
