2Toms Sponsors the 2013 Warrior Hike “Walk Off The War” Program

2Toms helps make the 2013 Warrior Hike pain free by donating their blister and chafe prevention products to the hikers.

Dublin, NH, March 01, 2013 --(PR.com)-- 2Toms, makers of advanced athletic products to prevent blisters, chafing, and odors, is pleased to announce its 2013 sponsorship of the Warrior Hike “Walk Off The War” Program, a program designed to support wounded veterans transitioning from military service by hiking the Appalachian Trail.

In order to help the hikers have an injury free hike, 2Toms is contributing samples of BlisterShield®, a blister prevention product; and SportShield®, a chafing prevention product. The Warrior Hike starts March 16th and finishes on September, 15th 2013.

“When we were introduced to the Warrior Hike, we definitely wanted to help out,” says Katie Smith, Director of Operations for 2Toms. “What better way to show our support than to donate samples of our blister and chafing prevention products so the hikers can have a pain-free hike.”

About the Warrior Hike
The Warrior Hike was founded in 2011 by deployed to Afghanistan, Marine Corps Captains Mark Silvers and Sean Gobin who hiked all 2185 miles of the Appalachian Trail to raise donations for wounded veterans. During their journey, Mark and Sean organized 35 fund-raisers at veterans organizations that were located along the Appalachian Trial. Recognizing the physical, psychological, and spiritual benefits of hiking the Appalachian Trail, Warrior Hike has partnered with the Appalachian Trail Conservancy to create the “Walk Off The War” Program. The “Walk Off The War” Program is designed to support wounded veterans transitioning from military service by hiking the Appalachian Trail.
