Los Angeles' Old Bars, Clubs and Hot Spots Are Now Being Remembered in a New Retro Rags T-Shirt Line

Los Angeles Retro Rags commemorates great Los Angeles pubs, taverns, and cocktail lounges of the past several decades.

Rochester, MI, August 03, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Retro Rags T-shirt designs celebrate LA bars that have each truly had their final and “last call.” All that remains of many of these watering holes are the stories the old patrons and bartenders tell.

“These places were once local hangouts where a lot of exciting events took place,” Erin Norton, founder and head designer of Retro Rags, who was inspired by the exciting historical past of Los Angeles' old nightclubs when creating her T-shirt line. “It just seemed right to feature places that have such thrilling and thriving pasts.” Featured Los Angeles shirts include Carlos & Pepe's, Central Saloon, The Corkscrew Bar, Crazy Horse Saloon, Hungry Tiger Bar, Cock N’ Bull Bar, Edna Earle's Cocktails, and Moby's Dock.

Norton’s Retro Rags has gained tremendous popularity since 2004 when she created a line of vintage T-shirts that her friends and family could wear. Initially the shirts were modeled after old Detroit, Chicago, and New York bars that are no longer in business. Each T-shirt comes with a hang tag that features the story and history behind the bar. T-shirts are 100 percent pima cotton, with a more tailored, hip fit and an authentic, soft retro feel featuring worn collars.
